Lots of exciting things happen in third grade!  As we prepare for the New Jersey Student Learning Assessment, students enhance and apply their writing skills by writing narrative and expository compositions.  They particularly like sitting in the author's chair to share their written masterpieces!  As a whole class we will read engaging novels and compare and contrast the story lines of various writing pieces  

In Math, we explore geometry, fractions, measurements, and of course, MULTIPLICATION.  Multiplication.com is a great website for students to practice multiplication skills at home. There are a variety of games that are engaging and allow students to practice learned skills 

Our classroom is a student-centered interactive environment which facilitates a true love of learning.  Students continue to learn how to become active, informed, responsible citizens who contribute to the community.
